What is a minors drivers license?

I was reading the Colorado Moped Laws and they said that you had to have a drivers licence or a minor drivers licence. So what is a minors drivers licence? thanks 4 answers!

It's a licence issued to anyone under 18. A 16 year old can recieve a license, but in many states, they have to pass a class or something like that. When a driver turns 18, they can contact the DMV and recieve a regular license.
