I have an idea of what it is but I just want to know the EXACT meaning.

  2. It is defined medically as an abortion.  The fetus is not accepted by the body and the body gets rid of it.

    It's just that - when the body expels an embryo or fetus before 20 weeks.  It's usually because the embryo/fetus was severely malformed and would not have survived long or well outside the uterus.
