i've herd of it but i'm not sure what it is i'm guessing it is when u loose a baby but how would u loose a baby? when u have s*x while ur pregnant don't u stay pregnant?

A miscarriage is when the body has a natural abortion (yes, for all you crazies out there...miscarriage IS a form of abortion, but its natrual and not by choice.)

A miscarriage happens for many differnt reasons. Oone could be the embreyo didn't attach itself to wall of the uterus right, or it attached to a fallopian tube. Your body coudl have j ust rejected it, as it wsa not healthy (preganancy, belive it or not, is having a parasite grow inside of you...) or you could have taken a medication that didn't agree with your pregnancy while you didn't know you were pregnant.

But, more so than not, s*x does NOT cause miscarriages.

A miscarriage is when you loose your baby before he/she comes to complete terms. In other words before the nine months that it take a baby to develop. A m/c is basically when a women doesnt carry her baby to term. There can be alot of reasons why a women m/cs . substance abuse ,a bad fall or physical abuse , physically not ready or sometimes its just one of those tragic things. A women can have s*x whilst she is pregnant and not lose the baby its nothing to do with that. =] x*x
