What is a modded PS2? Whats so special about it?

Hi there guys, can any of you tell me whats a modded PS2? And whats so special about it? I Want GTA Superman mod in PS2, does a modded PS2 can run mods through computer or something? I Really need to know, also how will i find it that its modded PS2 or not..?

Can i edit PS2 games from computer/PC too? and burn them and run them in PS2? i need all the information, And please really tell how to mod a game also if you can..

A modded PS2 just allows the PS2 to illegally play burned/copied games and games from other regions such as Asia and Europe ! A mod chip is basically a small electronic device used to modify or disable built-in restrictions and limitations of many popular video game consoles.

They are mainly used in cd/dvd based video game consoles !

u can play games burnt onto a cd in a modded ps2 u can modd a ps2 for around £10-£20
