Heather, gorse, rough grassland, bare rocks.

Higher than its surroundings but not mountainous.

Relatively few people.  

Windy, wet: beautiful on good days, bleak on bad ones.

I live on the east edge of Bodmin Moor.

Its a type of highland landscape with low growing vegetation such as heather, on acidic soils.
