My professor is a foregin guy from Iraq who tells us to write a paper on a story we have read. He says we need a moral thesis.... Okay what is that exactly? He explained nothing and everyone in the class is clueless.

The story is from the 1500s and is about a cheating king and queen. All he told us is to write a paper on it containing a moral thesis? what would your guess be

  1. I think "moral thesis" is the same as the moral implications outlined in the story.  I don't know  the story, but why would a king and queen cheat?  Is must be to gain something or keep something.  Whatever it is, it is causing them to be dishonest.  Is it every right to be dishonest?  If the king cannot make up "right and wrong" for himself, then who made the rules of "right and wrong" that even the king cannot change them?  Rules of right and wrong that everyone ought to obey can only come from God.

  2. Cheating is good or bad?

Cheating a king may be much serious than cheating a poor.
