What is a motor lodge? Can you stay at it like you can a hotel?

A motor lodge is usually a one-story collection of small rooms right up against the parking lot--you can park right in front of your room.

Basically, a motel.

a motor lodge is the same as a motel....usually a 1 to 3 story building with the doors to the rooms facing the outside of the building towards the parking lot..... sometimes they will have an elevator for the other floors but most of the time they will only have stairs.....
