I need it to fit inside a tire and be very powerful

If it is that size but isnt powerful then forget it

Also would it be more powerful if i took a bunch of small powerful motors and put alot in the tire ?

Just give me the name of a motor like that

  1. I did the preliminary design on a vehicle like this. If it can fly, you still need the same size rotor and specs I gave you in your other post. There are safety issues with the rotor being below (imaging stepping into a moving blade) plus you have to be careful not to interfere with the air flow. I was forced to conclude the helicopter configuration generally makes far more sense.

If you are OK with a hovercraft, you can build one using plywood, some skirting, and a leafblower, either gas powered or electric. Just google "hovercraft". These are really cool, lotsa fun, not too dangerous, not too expensive, and something you can actually build. Of course, they won't fly very high. They work by blowing air from above into a large chamber, so only a small pressure difference is needed to fly the hovercraft.

If you insist on high powered engines, look at my other post!

  2. Putting together a bunch of smaller motors in place of one big one usually results in more space and less efficiency.

Fit inside a rotating tire?  you would need several to balance the weights. But why would you do that? The tire would be very heavy and therefore the unsprung weight would be very high, and the car could not handle bumps.

    Define "powerful".

  3. a starter motor runs on 12V and creates a lot of torque

  4. There is a car made in Japan, for Japan called the Eliica. (Ee-lik-uh) It is powered by 100hp electric motors contained within each wheel. 4 wheels = 400hp. The chassis is basically just a car sized box platform covered in enormous batteries. I have no idea about prices. Google: Eliica
