I've always bee a really emotional person so I cry during lots of movies and books. I balled my eyes out so hard when I read Where the Red Fern Grows!

In the movie Dan in Real Life, I cryed so hard when he sang Let My Love Open The Door. He hadn't played the guitar and sang since before his wife had died.

Armageddon when bruce willis detonates the bomb instead of his daughter's fiancee.

Fried green tomatoes when ruth dies.

Brother bear when you find out that koda's mom died.

And tons of others!

into the wild: at the very very end when you are reading that moose hunters found chris mcandless 2 weeks after he died!!! TWO WEEKS!!! He was alone for so long and that is when someone finds him!!! Angry crying at that point.

OMG mine is Armageddon when Harry (Bruce Willis) decides to let his daughter's (played by liv tyler) boyfriend (ben affleck) go up with the rest of the crew and instead he Harry, stays behind to detinate the bomb to save the world. ...even though he (ben affleck) is the one who drew the shortest straw..I cry every single time.

2.  Eight Below.  When the dogs are reunited with their owner

3.  LOTR:  ROTK.  When Frodo leaves.

4.  Homeward Bound.  When Shadow comes over the hills and says "Peter." and the little boy runs towards him! OMG!! I'm getting teary!!

5.  The Family Stone.  When everyone slowly finds out the mom has cancer and will die by the next X-mas.

6.  Fried Green Tomatos.  When Ruth dies.

7.  The COlor Purple.  When Celir is reunited with her sister and her kids! OMG WHAT A MOMENT!

titanic: when jack is telling rose to get on the boat and cal comes over and tells her there's an arrangement for jack to get off with him and the make her get in the boat and then you hear an instrumental of "my heart will gon on" and it seems like everything is in slow motion and then she jumps back on to the titanic from the life boat.

armagedon: in the end when aj draws the short straw and harry brings him down and cuts off his oxygen and makes him go back up in the elevator and then when harry talks to grace and says how much he loves her and then when he pushes the button and graces life flashes befor his eyes.

For me it is the scene in "A League of Their Own" where the teams have been chosen and there is one lady still at the board looking at the rosters.  The coach is telling her if her name is not up there then she had to leave.  Finally, someone figured it out and asked her if she could read and she could not.  She could not find her name on the list because she could not read it.

This scene just floats by most people but when I watch it I think about what would be going thru her mind.  If she walked away she would never know if her name was on that board or not.
