Natural Resource - Something from the natural environment (water, air, trees, fuels) that is used to meet one's needs and wants.

Renewable Resource - a resource that has the ability to regenerate at a rate sufficient to meet one's needs.

Nonrenewable Resource - A finite resource that cannot be replaced once it is used (for example, petroleum, minerals).
