What is a newton-gram?

so I'm trying to simplify:

k=20 (Newton-Gram * mm^3) / (sec^2 * Celsius)

and there are a lot of units...so I'm really confused

  1. Not sure what you mean. A Newton-gram is a unit that you get when you multiply a quantity with units of the Newton with a quantity of unit grams. Looks like your k there is some complicated constant for something related to force and temperature.

    Maybe this will help: Newton == kg m s^-2
