  1. get a cheap car, definately not new, too risky to buy an expensive one for a first timer.

  2. Check out car auctions, I went to one recently that isoldkick a$$ cars, for cheap. I just got a lexus sc 430 for a niice price. It all depends on your price range, but a good one for you may be a mustang, they are pretty cheap and fast.

  3. chevy impala, civic, anything. i got a volvo s80 pimp car, but expensive.  Just look around, auction houses, used car dealerships.

  4. With gas prices the way they are, and your insurance will be up there too, you may want to think twice about doing this.  As for a car, a beater.  Who are you trying to impress, your only 16.

  5. It really is going to depend on your price range.  If you are looking for a brand new car, cheap is going to be around $10,000.00.  In which case I would suggest a Ford Focus.  The new ones actually look pretty good and they have decent gas mileage also.

If you are going used...  That's going to be completely different.  Your best bet there is to look in the papers or find an auction.  Check online...there are many great cars.  I would also agree with the statement about about Hondas.  They are great cars, but not really cheap.  My brother-in-law was able to find a 2004 coupe for $4000.00.  They look great and also get decent mileage.

Overall I think price is going to be your biggest factor when purchasing a new car.  You also need to think about insurance rates.  Good Luck!!

  6. I would say a civic Honda they are really safe, roomy, and nice for beginners its around 15-20 thousand dollars but it will be really worth it, or get a used one or a 2006 or something like that good luck =D and remember dont make a decision right away look around and then narrow it down to two or three choices you really like and list reasons you like and dislike about the car

  7. city golfs brand new are very affordble. if you are looking for used I would say either Hondas or Toyotas because they last and last, they sell pretty cheap, and are generally easy on fuel.
