What is a nice little gift I can take from Australia to give to my sisters friends in Thailand?

I am travelling to Thailand next week to catch up with my sister who has been there for 8 months. What is a small, nice gift I can take from Australia to give to them to make a good impression?

    A wallabee? (They're smaller than kangaroos, right?)

  9. i like to take some Cadbury's Caramello Koalas as they are an icon of Australia and also everyone likes chocolate, so it's kind of fun to share them around.  i find that kids especially like them as they enjoy the treat and also the character.  

    the only problem is it's not lasting, so you might want to take something more substantial as well, but a packet of CKs costs about $4 from Woolies.

    enjoy your trip and make sure you eat some Khao Neeo Mamuang as it's just about the best dessert there is on this planet!?!

  11. How about opal jewellery? We're known for our opals aren't we?

    I don't know how nice it would be, but u get those Australian Mint things - like specially made coins or medallions.

    My grandma in south africa used to love getting teatowels with aussie things on it - recipe for damper, aussie poems etc

    A jar of vegemite? lol
