What is a nice part of London that I could afford a 2/3 bed house/flat on a wage of about 25k?

  1. Renting in London is approx 1k per month for 2/3 bed appartment or house

    Minus 200 for less trendy

    Add on 200+ for nicer areas


  2. Were you thinking of renting or buying. If renting then you should be able to afford something, but if hoping to get a mortgage then it's a pretty long shot at the moment. I'm not sure which parts of London are 'in' at the present. You need to look at some estate agents.

  3. Ha ha ha ha! 25k? Ha ha ha! With a friend, so 50k? Ha ha ha! Sorry, but good luck. Maybe just outside London if you are lucky. You might find a nice spot in a grotty area is the most you can hope for. Hope you do find somewhere though.

  4. It depends on your existing debts. but really, assuming no significant loan repayments and you aren't crazy with money, you could live pretty much anywhere in London except Chelsea or Sloane Square on that kind of money.
