  1. I would have to say Take her home with you.

  2. It depends on whether you think that you'll want mainly Food or Entertainment.

One place that offers a bit of both is The Honest Lawyer, 300 Ouellette Ave.  (519) 977-0599.  It stays open until 2 a.m. most nights.

For memorable food and an intimate atmosphere, I recommend La Cuisine, 417 Rue Pelissier (on the 2nd floor).  (519) 253-6432.  You should make a reservation, because it is very small.  And I think that they won't take a reservation after 9 pm - which may be too early for you after the fireworks.

A nice little Italian restaurant is Per Bacco, tucked away at 1199 Ottawa Street.  (519) 255-1199.

Above average pub food and an exciting atmosphere?  Try Pub 358.  358 Ouellette Avenue.  (519) 252-7805.

Pizza?  You'll find the best pizza for many miles around, and a very nice atmosphere too, at Terra Cotta Pizzeria, 318 Pelissier Street.  (519) 971-0223.

If none of those sound quite right, you can browse a good review website for Windsor restaurants at Restaurantica, the last source on my list.
