Rose de Anjour is a nice Rose wine and it's not too expensive either.

If it is just a slurping wine to drink on it's own and not with any particular then any of the Blossom Hill Wines they are quite nice and not to expensive.

Kim Crawford does really nice wines and I like lindear... but they are kiwi wines and they might be expensive over there.

Try a South African Cheni Blanc. It is refreshing and crisp and goes well with a meal. For a dryer wine try the South African Sauvingon Blanc. Lovely smell to it and reminds you of blossoms and melon. Chardonnay is a sweeter wine better suited to stand alone drinking as it is a sweeter wine.
