A couple non-cyclic natural phenomena include light and mass.  Stellar formation, life and eventual death is essentially non-cyclic for brown dwarf "stars".

In the field of geology, something that is non-cyclic is the process of fossilation.  In today's world, certainly, the process that makes oil from living things can probably be considered non-cyclic.
