What is a normal electric and gas bill price of a one bedroom apartment?

I'm wanting to get my own apartment, but I want to be sure I'm able to afford it. Which I believe I can but I just want to make sure.

I live in a very small house and my electric is $70 - $80 a month and my gas is usually around $20. I would ask the gas and electric people for a history too. I used to rent an apt. and my electric bill would be as high as $130 a month with a unit. I think central heat and air is lower.

It depends on what part of the country you live in and how much electricity and gas you will use.

Florida's electricity bill is high due to central air.

About 110.00 a month  for a 0ne bedroom.

I live in a one room efficiency in Louisville, KY and my electric bill is 37.00 a month on average winter and summer.  I have no gas.

It is well insulated and exposed on four sides.

It would just depend on what area you live in, what electrical items you plan on using, how much they charge for kilowatt hour, and how many fees and taxes they charge.

I had a 900 square foot apartment before I moved into my 3 bedroom.  My average bill was 150 with using ac and heat.  Good luck!

It depends on what appliances you have, It slos depends on what your electric rates are. I pay about $150 a month and I have a 4 bedroom house, 3 Air conditioners , stove,  I Refrigerator/Freezer, microwave and internet.

figure $30 to $50 a month roughly. Unless you have electric heat

Gas bill can depend . Is your range gas or electric. Is your heat gas or electric or oil?

If you just have a gas stove, it would be maybe $15-$20 monthly.

For electric, count circuit breakers. If fuses count the amount of fuses.

Here in Canada; my electrical bill has been as low as $40.00 but last month I used my portable air conditioner and it was $60.00.  I live in a single bedroom.

I live in a three bedroom, 1500 sq. ft apartment and my electric  is around 50-60 and the gas is around 40-50.  I pay no water bill and I live in Atlanta GA. So that being said, it will depend on the size of the apt, not the bedroom size as I've seen quite large one bedrooms, and also how much you use it.  If you're not home a great bit and there's only you, I'd say you're quite safe on betting that your utility bills should be no more than $100 a month.  Good luck.

I don't have gas in my apartment - its all electric. Since its been summer it has been about 110 dollars
