it says that on my radio something "12/octave dB" idk help me out here.

  2. It is referring to the crossover, and more specifically the "roll off" or "slope", to put it as simple as possible, say the cutoff frequency was 1000Hz, with a 12dB/octave "roll off", the volume will decrease by 12dB for each increase or decrease in frequency (octave).
