Its just a poodle with different colorings. Its still a poodle, but the pigmentation of fur and skin make it look similar to the colorings of other breeds.

Typically, poodles come in four colors: Brown, White, Black, and "Silver". The brown covers all the way from copper to deep chocolate.

Phantom poodles are not a different "breed"; they are merely a different color of poodle. They are not new. They've been around for many decades. A phantom poodle could also be called a bi-colored poodle, but they aren't the same as a parti. A phantom poodle has the markings of a doberman, in the same pattern (see Taylor or Frodo). There are black phantoms (black and apricot, black and red, black and silver, or black and cream), chocolate phantoms (brown and apricot), red phantoms (red and apricot), and silver phantoms (silver and cream).
