I just received my Magic Jack adapters. As I started to install one it came up that there are no phone number in my area. I live in NC and the closest one is in Virginia. I don't feel that this will work. I would like to talk to someone who works for MagicJack. Does anyone have a phone number, Thanks DB

I also live in NC.....just sign up for GrandCentral.com and forward all your calls to MJ with a NC phone number from GC

don't even bother to call, no one will answer the phone....you can use live-chat or go to the online forum....!

Using GrandCentral to forward calls is a good option.  But, this is just another example of the short comings of MagicJack.

I also have a GrandCentral phone number in Charlotte, NC.  All calls from family in that area are forwarded to my phones in Canada, where I live.  It works good and is free (if you can get a number).

One point everyone should keep in mind when promoting GC.  It is free for now, while it is in Beta Development phase by Google.  I expect it won't be too long down the road that Google will start charging fees for some of the features of GC that we now enjoy as free....
