i went walking for a while yesterday. (..ok i admit it i was shopping in the mall for a few hours...) and i'm not exactly sure what a pinch nerve is..but i think i have one in my right leg.. it goes from behind my thigh (almost upto under my rear) down to the back part of my calf. it hurts..and i feel like i can't stretch it out..when i try to stretch my leg it only stretches the inside leg muscle. i took some advil to try to relieve the pain but i just want to know what kind of stretch i can do to maybe help stretch it out?

and maybe i'm making a mistake calling it a pinch nerve, maybe someone could explain to me exactly what that is? we thought my dad had one a few years back because he had pain in his leg and started limping for about a week or so but it turned out to be brain cancer. i don't think i have brain cancer lol i'm not a hypochondriac (sp?). so i just want to clarify what it feels like and what it is as well.

any information is appreciated.

i hate when people do this but i always award best answer and rate well for any kind of helpful posts/information.

  1. It could be sciatica. Try reaserching proper ways to stretch. Keep taking the advil and you might want to get a heat pad for your leg.
