  1. If you're looking for a place of employment that pays all of your tuition to go to college, and you do not want to go through the military, - - - when you find this "miracle employer" - especially in today's economy, please drop me an e-mail, because I want to work there too so I can finish my JD, and get my PhD :-)

  2. Many companies provide tuition reimbursement programs to higher level employees, particularly those in management. Some companies provide limited assistance to lower-level "line employees".

Some of the best known companies include:

Xerox, Wal-Mart, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Lockheed Martin, Cigna, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, and Farmer's Insurance, General Mills, Hilton Hotels, Starbucks, FedEx, Publix Supermarkets, Ernst & Young. There are many, many more.

Also keep in mind that the federal government only allows employers to write off the first $5250 a year in contributions to an employee's tuition payment. That tax consideration tends to limit how much employers are willing to contribute to their employees each year.

If you're thinking about working for a company just so they can pay for your schooling - and then you hope to move on - well, review the HR policies carefully. Many employers will require you stay with the company for some time, or you will have to pay back any money that was contributed toward your tuition.

You won't find a company that will buy you a college education while you work there part-time until you finish school and then leave for a "real" job. No company will make a big dollar tuition contribution to an employee who isn't future management material, and isn't "in it" for the long haul.

  3. The armed services.

  4. The County, only if you are elegible.

  5. the military does this. also you can look for scholarships with the government and they pay for all of your tuition but you have to work for them for how many years they paid for your schooling and intern with them during the summer.
