record songs on your phone and send them to your self in a text message and save it as a ringtone =] thats what i do

My advice - don't.

Most free ringtone websites are scams, and whilst they seem to be offering free tones, they actually sign you up to a subscription service, which can cost up to $10/£5 a week, and they make it very difficult to unsubscribe.

Just put some decent music on your phone and set it as a ringtone, it's much safer.

For example - Placeforfreeringtones.gov doesn't even exist, and freeringtones.com is actually Realtones.com, which, according to McAfee, is linked to potentially dangerous sites and doesn't actually have any ringtones, it's just linked to adverts. (http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/realton...
