i guess i have pollups. havent met with me y primary dr. yet. meet with him this week. had a colonoscopy yesterday.

  1. It's a "polyp", and it is a bulbous growth, usually connected to the main tissue by a thinner thing called a pedicle.  In the colon, polyps are considered possible cancer precursors, and the colonoscopy looks for these and removes samples for the pathologist to analyze.


  2. A growth in the colon-some look like mushrooms with a stalk or stem and some are more flat.  The doctor would have tken pieces of them to see if they are cancer.  Good luck

  5. I think you mean "polyps".  They are growths that hang off the intestinal wall.  They are not necessarily serious, but do need to be examined and possibly removed.  The doctor will be able to determine the course of action.

  6. I think you mean polyp...it is a benign (i.e. noncancerous) growth in the colon and is easily trearted
