What is a preschool program like in Mexico?

  1. Just like every school is different here, they all differ there, but I can speak of my experience in the school where I taught.  

    The children arrive in the morning, sit down to have breakfast, and then head outside to play for a bit.  Then, they line up and go to their classrooms, which are divided by age.  They had language classes where I taught (I taught English).  They were able to learn English, French, or German.  They completed workbooks and many projects such as art projects.  They learned songs and fingerplays.  Pretty much the only difference is the language and the emphasis on learning another language at an early age, which not all schools in the U.S. focus on.
