Anaya because it isn't so common like Ava. Ava is overused and once a child goes to school it will be one of the many Ava's in it's class. Anaya will be a very proud little girl because she has such a unique name :)

Ava is a beautiful name and i actually considered it for my daughter...but then i looked up the popularity of it. It was ranked number 4 in 2007. I thought it was unique. And although i have only met one Ava in my life, i figured the chances of my daughter being one of many Ava's in her class was very high (its number 1 in Ohio- where i live).

I personally like more unique names so I pick Anaya. Most people know the spelling of Maya and pronouce it as Mya so I dont think Anaya would get called a-nay-a a lot (a pp said something about it). And you cant spell it Anya because people will say (ohn-ya) and I would think that Aniya was pronounced (a-nee-a) not (a-nye-a).

Ava definitly.  Its a really beautiful name and i really love it.  When i hear that name i think of a drop dead gorgeous little girl who is very smart and savvy, someone who is very outgoing and very much in style=]  All together a great person!

Ava  I guess because my daughters name is Avva.  It is spelled with 2 v's.  One version of the Bible spells it that way.
