What does it mean when a cruise ship room says it has 2 twin beds and a third pullman bed?

  1. i think it means that it pulls down form the ceiling!


  2. The pullman bed is a bunk that is pulled down from the ceiling or from the wall.  

    The cabin steward pulls down and puts up the bed each day.

    It is not very comfortable for big fellows.

  4. It means that there are two twin beds in the cabin and a pullman which is a foldaway bed (bunk bed) that either folds up into the cabin bulkhead (wall) or the deck-head (ceiling) during the daytime.  

    The cabin will sleep two people in the twin beds or can take three people using the pullman bed. The third person in the cabin usually gets a cheaper rate.
