    But A quarter if your talking HORSES IS really a breed of it own

    one of the only

    T.B.S HAVE ARABIAN blood

    But most quarters came from ranch stock

    and then they just defined them and a few thoroughbreds thrown in once in a while

    They where used for short runs on cattle and their ability to turn fast to catch a cow etc,,
