Have you tried going to legal aid in your town?  Depending on your income, it could be free.  I did it to gain custody of my brother and our attorney was great.  Other than that...sell stuff on ebay, take out a loan, etc.

Call Cps because I am pretty sure the legal age now is 12. If she is 12 then she has the legal right to choose who she lives with.

IF the child is that important to you, then call all of your companies you have bills with and tell them that you need to put off your bills for a month or two to get the money to save this childs life. Then use the funds from the job you already have to pay the lawyer.

how old is the child. If over 13 they can ask the judge to stay with you. my brother-in-law just did this.

i'm not sure of your employment history, but waiting tables and bartending is easy, quick cash. you'll probably have to train for about a week before you can earn your own tips. in the meantime you can sell some of your belongings on ebay. good luck with your case
