What is a quick and easy way to clean my room?

my room is soo messy i cant even see the rug! can someone please tell me a quick,easy,effective method to clean my room

Get a couple of bags.  Put everything to throw away in one bag.  Put everything that goes in another room in another bag.  Put away everything that is to stay in your room.  If you don't have a place to put away something that is to stay in your room put it in a box or bag.  Take all three bags out of your room.  Now you are ready to dust and run the vacuum or mop.  

Now you only have one bag to bring back in your room.  With everything clean you might find that you do have a space for some of things.  If not, you will need to be creative.  Do you need to put up a shelf?  Get some baskets or pretty boxes to store the things?  Reorganize your drawers?  You can do it.

And just think how good you will feel when it is done.  Reward yourself with a special treat.

Put everything on the floor into a bag.

Then lay down a patchwork of tarp/quilts/similar and next time you have to clean your room, you just pull up tarp after tarp and can put that easily away.

Etc Etc
