What is a quick way simple way to kill bugs?

Don't be rude I know it's bad to kill animals, but it's for a school experiment. They CAN NOT be destroyed.

a blunt yet flexible object, brought to Vmax by your wristswing and stopping its movement in the exact same location as the bug your wanting to kill....

should do the job, otherwise get yourself a lizard

Carbon tetrachloride fumes are been used for butterfly collections, a little on a piece of cotton in a jar is a bug gas chamber.  It's OK if you kill some flies too.
