Is there another name for it or what is its significance in terms of boat trailer safety? Thanks!

  1. The definition of plumb is straight or level so I would assume they mean a level load or one that's evenly distributed, weight wise, from end to end.

  2. A level load?

  3. never heard of it. you may mean "Tongue" load which is the wei ght at the hitch. this affects the autos suspension capabilities and controls the type of hitch you need. most require at least a type 2 or 3 hitch with a 2 inch ball.
