Question:

What is a "real" feminist?

Many women here on GWS have the habit of labelling themselves feminists without knowing what real feminism is all about. They have been told that feminism is about "equality" and "women's rights" but they could not be more wrong.

Real feminism, born out of fear and hate and jealousy, is s*x-based and s*x-biased and utterly divisive between men and women. So those answerers here who say they are in a loving relationship with husbands or boyfriends are clearly not really feminists.

The only "real" feminists are perhaps the feminism bosses and the pseudo-intellectual theorists (sitting in comfortable offices somewhere and making money hand over fist) who write the feminism rule book.

Those dingdongs push forward barmy propositions like 'every woman is a feminist whether she likes it or not' and expect compliance. Fortunately most women are individuals with minds of their own and do not care to be inducted into the collective herd mind.

Should those who wear the feminism label really get a broader perspective on life and examine their cult more closely? Perhaps it is not what they may think it is.

  1. an ugly L*****n

  2. Another pile of anti-feminist BS.  Real feminism is what we believe it is.   I am a feminist.

Why do you keep trying to put your distorted view of the world unto everyone else.  Yesterday an answerer said that the reason there are anti feminists is that they don't understand real feminism - but once they learn they will join us.   I stated that that was not true as everyday we are here telling you what feminism is -  but you don't listen.   So listen.   Feminism is not a cult.  It is not based in hatred of men.  Why would I hate my sons?

I believe men who are fervent misogynists don't realize what they are doing to their daughters.  Do they really think less of their daughters than their sons?  Don't you want an even playing field........

  3. I have never claimed myself a feminist, more an equalist.

I want the rights men have, but not more rights then them.

I want to be able to stay home and bring up my children and I want dads to have that choice too.

I want to be able to work in any job I choose and I want that for men too.

I don't want more or less power then any man I know.

  4. You can divide feminists into 'wolves' and 'sheep'; you have those who make all the running (e.g. creating sexist 'positive discrimination' laws) and those who are happy to take advantage of them and call themselves a feminist. However these laws, because they are inherently unfair, never really help anyone except the people whose job it is to make them i.e. the career feminist aka wolf. In the end the sheep will not be happy in a world that alienates them from men, but the wolves don't need men so its a win-win for the wolf and everyone else gets to pick up the pieces. All in the name of equality, eh?

  5. I don't know.  I'd also like to know what is meant by "normal women"  in questions where the post refers to feminists vs. "normal women."

My guess is that both "real" and "normal"  seek to define the majority distribution (mean plus  two standard deviations)  on a distribution curve, effectively eliminating the fringes on both ends.

  6. Someone who believes men and women are equal in front of law, society and culture.

  7. There are a******s in every group, "real" or "fake".

What makes you think that you can understand the need for feminism when you've been a man all your life (well, at least I'm assuming you've been a man all your life)?

  8. Misogyny is a mental and social disease.  It clouds many ego-fragile men's minds with dishonesty about historical facts and "definitions".  What is a "real" Democrat?  Huh, huh?  lol.  Apparently, many disturbed men are sooooo dishonoarable, they even pretend to never have read here hundreds of times how feminists here define themselves.  That suggests to me that those men, when they act "confused", especially if feminists aren't willing to play the little boy game of, "But, wahhhhh, I want to name it!!!", aren't whatsoever seeking truth and illumination or consensus but rather to just whine, inflame, distort information, rant, bandwagon, preach their pet little-head-based agenda, have something to do with their right hand while they're playing with themselves with their left hand, etc..  I was a feminist before your father was old enough to have zits and there were plenty of fussy confused men back then too who just "named it" "hairy-legged lesboism".  lmao.

  9. Feminism (using any other qualifier) is a hateful ideology intended to emasculate and/or eradicate men under the guise of "seeking equality in the post-modern era."

  10. If you don't have a dictionary, type the word "dictionary" into your favorite search engine, and find 'feminist' or 'feminism.'

IF you're capable of reading, you'll see that, BY DEFINITION, equality is exactly what feminism IS about.

No, it's not about fear, hate, and jealousy (expect the feat, hate, and jealousy of those who hate women and refuse to accpt that women are HUMAN BEINGS). It's not s*x-biased -- the people who keep babbling that at you have been lying to you.

Uh, whoever told you that no feminists have loving relationships was also lying to you. Instead of only listening to everything said by liars, consider listening to some truth once in a while.

YOu also sem to be under the impression that only women are feminists. Yet another lie.

Also a lie: that there's a feminism rule book.

I don't anyone who says all women are feminists; most likely the liars you keep listening to made that one up, too.

Yes, most women DO have minds -- that's what feminists have been trying to explain to everyone.

Most Americans, Canadians, and Western Europeans are feminists. They accept that women are human beings, and thus have equal rights. (That most, both men AND women.)

Face it, you've lost the battle to prevent women from being treated as human beings, from living their lives as they see fit. If you really can't stand it, there are still some countries where women are treated as property; move to one of them (but there are growing feminist movements even there).

What's a broad perspective is that all humans are human.

What narrow is rejecting the humanity of over half the human race -- which is what those who reject feminism, BY DEFINITION, do.

  11. This is not really much of a question, but more your thoughts.

There are to few real questions on here and to many rants and opinions.

  12. So what gives you the authority to decide what real feminism is? A real feminist has more credibility than you when answering this question.

  13. Obviously the answer you're looking for is that a "real" feminist is one who conforms to whatever made-up bullsh!t you claim it is.

Perhaps feminism is not what you may think it is.
