What is a "tuner" like car with good gas mileage?

Question

I was wondering what a good "tuner" like car is that also gets good gas mileage and isnt too expensive. Something like an Acura RSX or Mitsubishi Eclipse but without a turbo and it gets good gas mileage. Also if you know of any good mpg "new muscle" cars like a Dodge Charger or a Nissan 300ZX. I live in California and its going to be my first car so please make it available in America (NO Skylines and stuff like that).

Acura RSX--22 City and 31 Hwy

Mitsubishi Eclipse--18 City and 28 Hwy

Dodge Charger--18 City and 26 Hwy (but thats the 6 Cyl)

Nissan 300 ZX--16 City and 22 Hwy

I understand why you dont want a turbo; its because you have to pay for premium gas when you have those and that would be almost 5 bucks a gallon!

Get a honda...theyre slow (dont have to worry about high speed crashes), get good gas mileage (tiny engine) and theyre ugly as crud so cops will be appaled and not want to pull you over.  Plus there redneck as crud so you wont have to worry about repairing it.. just duct tape it back together

first of all don't ever spend a single penny on a rice burner, if you want something thats fast then you should look into a charger or something like that has some real muscle.  A word of advice if you ever see "real" car enthusiasts around (not saying your not a real enthusiast or anything) then don't ever say tuner and fast in the same sentence it is an oxymoron which could cause you some pain.
