  1. "Void" is usually human waste... of the bowel sort.  Sorry so gross.

  3. I would guess a void is a complete lack of any kind of evidence.

  4. Something missing. For instance, a perfect, clean circle on a dusty shelf could be a void for a vase.

  5. If you have a blood spatter or a dusty table, a spot where the blood or dust is not present and something else prevented it from settling in that area, this is known as a void.
