Dan (Bacon) and Lorie (Perkins) are exact opposites on and off the air. But when the womanizing conservative and the monogamous liberal get together, it's a toss-up between love and war as they play out their rivalry in newspaper columns and TV spots."

When is a man a womanizing conservative and and a woman a monogamous liberal ?

A monogamous liberal is simply someone who freely chooses to be monogamous, because that is what "liberal" means, "free to choose", "free to exercise rights", as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

A womanizing conservative is simply a hypocrite. It's like a conservative setting out rules for everybody else but doesn't follow it him/herself.
