What is a rah? 20 chars?

I am going to Durham University this year and everyone keeps telling me that there are loads of rahs there. What on earth is a rah?

Rah's are the up and coming wannebe's in designer gear.

You'll find them on all university campuses I'm afraid. Durham has just defined them. Most of them are perfectly nice shallow people like you find all over the country.

Materialistic, competitive and like to wear their identity and character. Don't feel intimidated. Just be true to yourself. I am sure you'll find some no-Rah's to hang about with. Otherwise, if you can't beat them try joining them.

Durham is a fantastic university, don't be put off by the Rah's, there are not that many anyway.

Rah's have been about for centuries but known by other names. Have a laugh.
