In Louisiana and Texas there's a local chain of fats food places called Cane's. The only meat they serve is these amazing chicken strips. They're known for their Cane's sauce.

Personally I love In and Out.....they are all over Cali but anywhere near the south I would have to say Sonic...just love the cherry lime aid!

Then there is Hardeesor back west it is know as Carl's Junior

Alot of times I like to find little town drive thru restuarants that are just as cheap but have better food also.

sonic we don't have any in or near maine. i went there so many times like everyday well visitin my aunt and uncle durin february 2008 vacation in phoenix arizona. it's so good. in maine we have little caesars which is good but it's rare cause there's only like 2 or 3 of them here.
