What is a rasher? Like of Bacon? Is this something it's cooked in or a reference to the amount?

  1. It's a piece of bacon, doesn't matter if it's cooked or raw.

  3. You get 'slices' of ham, but 'rashers' of bacon. I can't say that I know why exactly.
