I am a waiter and ive had people ask for a shirley temple with ginger ale and grenadine and ive had people ask for a shirley temple with sprite and grenadine. Which of these is the real shirley temple and what is the other drink called?

A Shirley Temple is originally made with ginger ale, grenadine, and orange juice.

But the orange juice is now left out and since most places don't have ginger ale they substitute it with sprite or 7up.
