  15. books really depend on the reader's taste & maturity,

for young love & romance try sweet dreams (recommended for girls) or Sweet Valley High (boys and girls as the latest issues really got into the perspective of both male & female and deal with more issues other that young love) PS i am not sure if they are still on the market

  16. the sisterhood of the traveling pants series or the pretty little liars series (sounds weird, but it's REALLY good)

  17. A fascinating biography that is getting great reviews is "Ibn al-Haytham: First Scientist" by Bradley Steffens. It tells the inspiring, true story of a medieval Muslim scholar who overcame bouts of mental illness to develop the scientific method two hundred years before the Europeans learned of it—by reading his books. The author just received the Theodor S. Geisel Award for the best book published by a San Diego County author last year. You can find reviews of the book and a sample chapter at http://www.ibnalhaytham.net/ Enjoy!

  18. TWILIGHT SERIES...if you are a girl

    SARAH DESSEN BOOKS ARE AMAZING

    blood and chocolate

nick and norahs infinite playlist: movie is coming out in october

  19. The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede. The series consists of four novels:

    1. Dealing with Dragons

    2. Searching for Dragons

    3. Calling on Dragons

    4. Talking with Dragons

The books are fantasy, with good adventure and plenty of humor. I read the series again about every two years. Most of the people I've recommended the series to have enjoyed it. I know it's a good series for young people because I was student teaching in an 8th grade class when I discovered it. Some of the students recommended it.

Also Jurassic Park, Prey, Timeline, Airframe, or other books by Michael Crichton.

For something historical, Shogun or Taipan by James Clavell.
