What is a really good home based business?

I would love to work from home, but I don't know of any legitimate home based businesses. Does anyone have any ideas? I would even consider Avon, or Tupperware, but I really don't want to invest alot of money.

You have to sell a lot of tubes of lipgloss to equal the income of one set of plastic bowls from Tupperware.  That was my logic when I was looking for something to work from home.  I joined Tupperware to save money and get stuff cheap for myself. The next best thing to earning money - is saving it!  i.e. Never pay full price!  LOL!  Less than 3 years - and I earned a G6 convertible - FREE!  Who Knew?

You may not get what you wish for - but you will get what you work for!  Make sure that whatever you choose - associate yourself with people who can help!  A lot of 'legit' home based businesses have good products - it's really the support and training that is important.  Best of Luck!

There are a LOT of home based businesses that claim to be very rewarding. Businesses like Avon and Mary Kay are great to get in, but you really should be very passionate about their products. There is a lot of pressure to order products to sell from your upline and the fact that you will go "inactive" and lose status if you don't meet a certain quota in ordering. I've known people in Avon, Mary Kay, Interactive Distribution (aka Amway), Excel, AmsOil, phone cards, Pampered Chef... all of them require you to RECRUIT for a downline.

So, to answer your question, sell products on Ebay, and whatever do you, DON'T buy anything from those rip off infomercials.

The best is Ebay. You can find a product to sell there and start a store. Find something everyone whats, then sell it.

Another would be health products like supplements. You can even have your own website. You can be a distributor for a company. That is the best since they do all the advertising and them you get a territory.

Some people take courses in medical billing/transcription, and then work for a physician from home, and that can be pretty decent. I've also heard of some people who conduct telephone research surveys from home (like asking someone how satisfied they are with their car insurance), and well, if you would be comfortable- a lot of phone s*x operators work from home and make pretty good wages. Again, that's not for everyone, but if it works for you- who cares what anyone else thinks?

I love what i do and I would be happy to tell you about it. I think it is important that you love what you do and believe in the product or service you provide. I would also recommend a consumable product for reorder business I say this from personal experience I took a very long maternity leave but still make money:)

I work for a new home based company that is 100% free and totally different. It's legitimate and not like anything else around. There is nothing to sell, no meetings, and all the tools are free. It's an honest company with good morals and we are trying to help everyone who wants to work at home and make some extra money. Again it's free so you have nothing to lose.

It is possible to work for an honest company, at home with no cost. No matter what people may say. Let me know if you want more info.

I have a home based business through Purse Party. It's definately not a scam. It's Direct Sales. I'm doing really well with it. And the good thing is it's a fairly new company so it's easy to build your business!
