What is a really good tv show that gets you really hooked on it?

I LOVE the show weeds, gossip girls, and the riches and im looking for a drama/comedy show just like them does anyone have any good ideas

ps i really like shows from showtime hbo and fx so it doesnt have to be on the main channels

My favorite show of all time right now is Bones, which airs on FOX. During the summer, when it's not on, I have to read fan fics and watch fan videos or I'd go crazy.

I got completely hooked on Supernatural when the pilot first aired in 2005.  It's a brilliant show and it's completely addictive - once you start watching it you'll never look back ; )

Here's a brief summary of what it's about:

This television drama is about two brothers, Sam and Dean, who were raised by their father, John, to hunt and kill all things that go "bump in the night" after his wife, Mary, was murdered by something supernaturally evil when the boys were young. 22 years later the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way, to find their recently missing father who, when they finally meet up with, reveals he knows what killed their mother, a demon, and has found a way to track and kill it. Meanwhile, Sam starts to develop frightening abilities that include death visions, visions of people dying before it actually happens. These visions are somehow connected to the demon who murdered his mother and it's mysterious plans that seem to be all about Sam. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same devil that had killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor, are determined to finish the crusade their father started. But disturbing revelations about Sam's part in the demon's apocalyptic plans are presented when John's dying last words to Dean are revealed.

I can guarantee Rome, Dexter  and The Tudors. I recently started watching "The Wire" from HBO after so many good reviews and I have to say it grows on you, though maybe more a boys show!

Lost, heroes,the office(american version of course) as for cable shows. i really like Big Love. it's both a drama and comedy but you may have to rent the first 2 seasons on dvd b/c the third season hasn't returned yet but i will soon and you want to be caught up in that instance. my name is earl is a good show as well.

Lost. I recently caught up on it, and it's so addicting. It sucked me in and it was all I was thinking about for awhile.

If you like Gossip Girl, you might like One Tree Hill. My friend is hooked on both of them.
