What is a really great resort for a honeymoon in Mexico?

We're trying to plan our honeymoon and want to go somewhere in Mexico but we just cant seem to choose a place! I think the hotel is most important and prefer somewhere with really modern clean rooms. Has anyone gone to Mexico or somewhere similar and has a place to suggest??

The Palace Resorts in Cancun have very modern decor.  The nice thing about these are that they have a few resorts relatively close to each other and are all inclusive so you can go to the others and all your food and drinks are free there too. I love these resorts to because they are not really driven towards family vacations. I think that I saw one child the entire time I was there. They also have a great honeymoon welcome waiting for you in your room.... It was champagne and choc covered strawberries as well as a huge floral arrangement.

there are alot of places around riviera maya in Quintana Roo, also in Puesto Vallarta Jalisco, but to me the best place for espending honey moon is Los Cabos in Baja California Sur, quite with nice beach, right now the problem may be the wheather as it must be very hot, but no problem there are good hotels and resorts over there.

Check out the various resorts (Sheraton, Westin) in Cabo San Lucas, Baja Mexico.  Great area for honeymooners.
