  1. For starters Seattle is not that rainy. It gets less rain than any US city East of the Mississippi in an average year! It just takes a lot of rainy days for its annual 30+ inches to fall.

There are a bunch of places not too far from Seattle where there is heavy rainfall, the easiest to get to are on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula, the Hoh rain forest in Olympic National Park is a good example. The western slopes of Mt. Rainier also get a great deal of rain. If you want precipitation--rain plus snowfall--the slopes of Mt. Baker in Whatcom County set national records for snowfall in many winters.

  2. Mount Rainier.

  3. pretty much SEATTLE

  4. any place near seattle is rainy.

  5. Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula.

Contrary to popular myth, Seattle is not that rainy.  It's just gray and "misty" 6 month out of the year.

  6. The Olympic Rain Forest, west of Seattle, near the coast.  Very rainy.

Or try 4th & University in the heart of the city.  It rains there A LOT in the fall, winter, & spring.
