  1. These are complicated--depending on the value of the house, its ownership and so on. There are some websites on line that have sample wills that you can fill out, and if you have anything like a careful mind you can write a will that will hold up in court.

    Otherwise if there are no trusts and elaborations, $400-500 is reasonable for a lawyer's fee.


  2. I paid $450.  You can get forms on line somewhere if that's too expensive for you.
