I'm taking some classes at the local college for some credit, and I'm just wondering what most high-school students get when they're in the same situation. Honest answers please.

  1. honestly, if you are in HS taking a college or AP course.  You are considered exceptional already.  The same applies on what the expectations are even though you are in HS.

  2. Honestly, it depends on the student and the class.  Some people are more focused than others, and can get higher grades than people 2 or 3 years their senior.  Others, of course, will struggle more than their peers... also, some people have a natural talent or interest for whatever the subject matter of the class may be, and so they will get higher grades.

As mentioned before, if you're in high school and you're already taking classes in college or Advanced Placement (AP) courses, you should just be proud of yourself about being there.  It's a great accomplishment.
