I have an '02 Altima and I need to get the windows tinted before the sun turns my car into an oven and bakes us all. How much should I expect to pay? Can anyone suggest a reputable company in the Sacramento, CA area?

  1. Ok I'm not from that area but my husband has had plenty of cars since we are been together and he has always had them tinted. Almost always he would pay anywhere from $100 to $150, depending on how dark you want them and I'm guessing also on who does it.

  2. I live in the Central Valley and recently had all my windows...4 sides and back tinted. We paid $200.00. That was a good deal. (It was for a'02 Toyota sedan). I think most of the estimates were between $200-$300.

  3. You should be able to get it done for under $300, likely under $200.  Be careful and find a shop that knows the law.  Cali has strict laws on how dark it can be.

  4. $150-75 for titanium.  Most places can do it.  Just make sure they give you a full warranty for cracking for at least 5 years.

  5. I had all 5 windows in my mustang done for 150.

  6. Check out Yahoo Local... they have customer reviews, as well as locations and phone numbers for your area.
