  1. refugee camp is like a safe place where people running from disaster, war.. etc. refugee camp provides food, shelter and medical care  to them.

Most countries in the world accept refugees!!

  2. A place where they keep people from another country for their safe keeping or the country they are in. Is a place to control a group of people.

  3. A refugee camp is a place where people displaced from their homes by war or natural disaster can go to receive aid and live until conditions improve or arrangements can be made to relocate. Whether one wants to consider them good or bad is mostly irrelevant.  Such camps are needed in the wake of disasters, whether caused by human activity or acts of god or nature.  However, if not properly managed, conditions within such camps can quickly deteriorate to abysmal conditions.  And if the host governments do not make any attempt to resettle the refugees, instead using them as political pawns, even greater atrocities are sure to follow.
